This is one of the first books I started in 2023, so dividing this review into 2 parts. Also, I will try to talk about the whole experience of the book and also how it felt while reading the book.

Build quality:
Harper Collins publishes the book and the build quality of the book is excellent. Being a 400+ page book, it is hard to keep the binding of the book sturdy but the publishers very well do it.

The Content:
Referring to mythological books in general, I have read a lot of them. Sudha Murty is my favourite, but Mahagatha also stands second and close runner-up in being very simple and illustrated 100 stories from all over mythology. Satyarth Nayak has done an excellent job of helping people understand mythology very easily. The collection of stories is also great and very consciously picked. It keeps the reader engaged. The illustrations also add a very amazing flow to the book.

Also, the book made sure that the flow is in chronological order and one can understand how Indian mythology grew over time and what was the scenario like throughout.

I would suggest that one should take their time reading one chapter in a day to grasp and enjoy Hindu Mythology in its real way.

Favourite Character:

As this is a collection of stories from mythology, I am very excited to mention that I really loved Lord Shiva and his stories. This book has given me insights into when and how things happened with the lord and how it all came together in the form of mythology. Getting to know about incidents about how and why he is called the different names that he is being called with love by his devotees.

I have always felt the need of knowing all the 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu. The story beautifully collects and connects all the stories taken from mythology. It is easy to relate as at some time or the other in our childhood we did read/listened to all these stories.

A great collection of stories.

Gratitude:

Also, I am grateful to Blogchatter for allowing me to review this book. This book was a part of Blogchatter Book Review Program.
