I came upon a Lighthouse

So let me tell you a story, a simple one. Or let’s not get the story but the essence of the story is that sometimes you meet someone and the person changed your life so much that when you describe the incidents to other people they feel like they were there with all of you people.

This happened with Shantanu Naidu and I think this person he met made him a storyteller. The person was no other than Mr RATAN TATA. The book starts with how the Naidu family has worked with the Tatas and how they were grateful to them. Shantanu was no different. He, like his family, respected Tatas to the core and started his career in a venture by Tata Group only.

The story takes a huge turn when his (Shantanu) feeling of care towards stray dogs compels him to make a small startup where the team unit invents ways to reduce accidents. [Read the book to find out, it is very interesting.]

The news reaches Mr Ratan Tata and Shantanu becomes the first generation of Naidu to meet Tata himself. This starts a new journey in both of their life and the story is well capsulated in the book.

Talking about the book, it is one of my first reads of 2022 and I totally loved it. Built quality wise, the book is well made. I heard about some pirated copies being sent to other readers so kindly check after getting your copy for any kind of piracy as all the author’s royalty will go to the animal welfare society.

About the content of the book, you can start reading it and the illustrations will keep you indulged in the book. Along with that Shantanu has created amazing scenes and the writing style is so comforting to a reader that one can get a hold of it very quickly.

After reading the book, I feel like I know Mr Ratan Tata personally which is quite good of a feeling. Special mentions to Sanjana Desai for amazing illustrations.

In my reviews, I seldom talk about the story of the book, so to get your copy you can check here.
