So its been long since I have posted any review and I have been on a reading slump lately. Its not easy to manage reading and job. If you people are doing these two effortlessly, please drop in some tips.

Talking about the book I am going to review today, it is something which made me really happy when I received it. The cool cover, the amazing storyline, past-present-future all together in one book. So here I am talking about “The Crystal Palace Chronicles” by Graham Whitlock. I received this package in middle of October and this literally made my month. Completing the story with an ending month was the highlight of the month.

Talking about the story, the plot revolves around Crystal Palace and people related to it, along with its history. The story is about a kid who knows the palace really well and thinks that can never be lost in the ruins of the palace left. But nobody knows what future holds for him.

The story starts with a fight which took place between kids playing in park and this introduces the protagonist of the story. The story and the character reveal is slow and mysterious which adds spice to the storyline.

Just to give a hint of the mysterious ways the story moves, there is a maze which leads him to the place he never thought he would be. Along with this there is a compass, a skateboard and lots of fun in the future [or shall I say past ;)]

I want to write more about this but this will ruin story for you and that’s the worst thing I can do to a fellow reader.

Talking about the setup of the story, the story is setup really well and the language used is easy to understand. If you are someone who likes fiction and would be interested in fantasy, this is the book to be picked up.

Apart from the boy kid, I loved the character of his younger sister who is introduced in the very beginning of the story and has a great sense of understanding and humour.

Overall, loved the book and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you @LitrallyPR for the copy.

And this was my stop to the Book Tour

P.S.: Look for Alone Child
